Liaise is coffee buyer Jake Smiths' personal index of producer partnerships and knowledge he's developed from his favorite people and places around the world.

He has spent time living and working in East Africa, building equitable supply chains with producers, understanding the domestic market, and developing roasted offering lines tailored to various specialty market needs. Having worked with some of the best coffee producers and exporters in hard to reach areas, Jake has a vision for discovering diamonds in the rough and connecting producers from undervalued origins to the market. While the supply chain and market are ever changing, Liaise is committed to creating memorable connections by sourcing and roasting delightful coffees for all to enjoy. After all, it is the connection that changes the nature of any object.

Liaise Coffees has a catalogue of purposefully developed blends that are leveled with balance and personality alongside stellar single origin, season driven coffees exposing their tradition and place. In addition, Liaise sources and roasts everyday solid staples under the FARM TEAM line.

    The FARM TEAM line up is a simple set of Everyday Solid Staples sourced and roasted to maximize our producer partner's harvest. HOMESTEAD, a diner style house coffee, 3 PEAT, a sweet & rich tasting espresso and AS NIGHT for a classy dark roast.
