Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee and a place where coffee can actually grow wild. With that, it’s no surprise that these coffees are different from many other origins on the continent and in the world. This Ethiopian lot was sourced through close partners that have a long and rich history in Agaro, evidenced by the quality of the coffee and how quickly it is delivered from origin to our HQ.

This is a washed coffee from Yukro that was harvested in January 2026 in the western area of Ethiopia in Jimma. Agaro coffees, like some others in Ethiopia, open up over time and develop more and more flavoras the un-roasted green coffee ages. Right now it has a crispness that is sweet, and delicate with a juice like nature to them that is so refreshing, perfect for the summer. And it’s only going to get better with time.
