What is EA Decaffination?  E.A. (Ethyl Acetate) is a naturally occurring organic compound found in many fruits and vegetables which can be synthesized for coffee decaffeination. Green coffee is soaked in E.A. to decaffeinate it, then thoroughly rinsed, re-dried and re-bagged for transport.
