Finca Rosita is located in the Illimani community in the Caranavi region of Bolivia. The farm, or finca, is named in honor the late matriarch of the Valverde-Aramayo family, Rosa Angelica Aramayo. The farm spans across 32 hectares or 80 acres at an altitude of 1320 -1740 meters above sea level delivering a lovely classic cup with deep sweetness reminiscent of hazelnuts, raisins and cola.

Similar to a lot we released in '25 from Caranavi, this region is a serious coffee producing area rich with industry pride and history. This specific lot is a single variety lot made up of 100% Catuai coffee plant. This lovely release is fully washed and fermented for 12-14 hours in steel tanks and then dried for 15-20 on raised tables for good airflow.

How should I brew?

We think you should brew any way you like. But if you're looking for recommendations, a 1:16 ratio of coffee to water is our favorite. 60g/L is good too, if you're into that.

Grind your coffee fresh at a medium-ish grind size (depending on your brewer), heat up some nice water, and you're most of the way there.

If you're using a V60, 20g of coffee to 320g of water is great, and it's helpful to have a pouring kettle. Bloom, wait, and then pour high and in a steady stream for a nice extraction.

If you're using a batch coffee maker, 60g of coffee to a liter of water is just right. Brew it up and let it rip.

What should I do with a Liaise Coffee Bag Clip?

Yes, our 12oz coffee bags are resealable. BUT if you get a 5lb bag, it is not resealable. If you decide to go big with a 5lb bag from Liaise, the bag clip is a perfect tool. Just remember, the Liaise Coffee Bag Clip is NOT a chip clip. It's a coffee bag clip.
